So this may be completely ridiculous, but I absolutely refuse to quit using my 35 mm camera. I love my cheap little camera. I have a Canon Sure shot w/ a 70 zoom. This is actually my second of this camera because I loved the first so much. My first camera endured a tragic mishap while we were camping several years back. No, it is NOT water proof if left in a camp chair when a crazy downpour occurs! So I found the exact same camera on ebay for less than $10 right before Berlyn was born. I'm seriously thinking about getting each of my kids one off ebay for Christmas, or maybe birthdays. Anyhow, has anyone tried to buy 35 mm film lately?? I looked all over and finally found the film, very well hidden! And there is only about a 2 ft. x 2 ft. area of film now! I wonder how long they let me live in the 20th century. I'm sure it's just a matter of time. They've done away with vhs movies (which I would pick any day over DVDs), tape cassettes, polariod film and our beloved 8 tracks! I bought a cool (and really old) polaroid camera at a yard sale this spring for less than $1. I thought it would be fun for the kids at their birthday parties. Then I came home to search the internet for film for it.... about $35 for ONE package!! WHAT?!?!?! I threw the camera away. So I still haven't completely gone to a digital camera. We own one. My husband loves it. I use it for the business. But for fun (anything I plan on scrapbooking), I use my faithful 35 mm camera.
So here are a couple of pictures from my cousin's July Wedding, taken, of course, with my faithful 35 mm camera.
